Skookum is a Chinook Jargon word meaning powerful and hard-working. It’s the perfect name for this beautiful boat built in Holland by Altena in 1973. The couple who came over from Canada to cruise through Europe for the last few years have loved having the two double beds plus a convertible dinette. This has made it easy for their friends and family to join them for the most interesting parts of the trip (near the sea and wine-tasting regions).
The owners have taken good care of it and added features to make it comfortable to live aboard.
Moreover it’s easy to maneuver with its two hydraulic steering positions, its bow-thruster and large deck space.
The boat has been professionally painted in 2018 and it’s a job well done.
3 USPs: sturdy build, good paint job, large.
