Discover this Freycinet barge, 39.08 meters long, built in 1966 by the Thuin shipyards. Originally used for transporting goods, it has since been redesigned to accommodate the public. Today, the hold offers an accessible area of 60 m², which can be adapted according to the layout of a stage or event space. According to current regulations, it can host up to 195 people standing (including staff and audience).
The interior layout includes two dressing rooms, a functional bar/kitchen, and sanitary facilities, ensuring comfort and practicality for hosting events. Outside, a spacious terrace can accommodate approximately 50 people standing, providing an ideal space for enjoying a convivial outdoor setting.
In addition, the 39.08-meter Freycinet barge features a private owner’s area, including a living room with a fully equipped kitchen (gas hob, 220V refrigerator, 220V oven, microwave, extractor hood, dishwasher) and a bathroom with WC, offering true onboard comfort.
For safety, the barge is equipped with a surveillance camera, a gas detector, and a fire detector system (Category A SSI, detection in every area, no delay).
The engine received a complete overhaul in 2023. The vessel is ERP-classified and comes with a European Union certificate.
Combining history, charm, and versatility, this Freycinet barge represents an exceptional platform for cultural, artistic, or event projects.
