Discover the history of the sea with this magnificent Dutch Tjalk, built in 1907 in Hoogezand. A witness to a bygone era, she plied the waterways between the Netherlands and Germany, carrying a variety of cargoes including potatoes, wheat, peat and wood. Fully restored in keeping with its original character, this Tjalk proudly displays its 17-metre wooden mast, which can be fully folded down, and its characteristic side daggerboards. Recognised for her heritage interest, she proudly bears her BIP label, guaranteeing her authenticity and historic value. Her full rigging, comprising mainsail, jib and staysail, will transport you back to the days of tall ships. Carefully fitted out, she offers a warm and comfortable living space, ideal for peaceful sailing or a stay at anchor.
