Discover this Freycinet barge from the Forges of Strasbourg, measuring 38.56 meters in length and 5.03 meters in width, built in 1951. Fully renovated in 2021, this barge offers true onboard autonomy. The vessel is equipped with solar panels, a water filtration system, a sewage treatment plant, and technical installations that allow for comfortable and independent living. Please note, however, that the hull will need to be replaced. The asking price already includes the cost of this work. Renewal of the EU certificate will also be required.
The interior layout, modern and welcoming, is perfectly suited for a primary residence or year-round liveaboard lifestyle. At the stern, the current workshop can be converted into an additional cabin if desired. The bright and pleasant wheelhouse provides an excellent piloting position. The heart of the barge features a spacious open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen (gas hob, 220V oven, 220V refrigerator, extractor hood, microwave, and dishwasher), a convivial dining area, and a comfortable lounge.
The Freycinet barge from the Forges of Strasbourg also includes a laundry room, two bathrooms, three cabins, and an office that can serve as a workspace or extra sleeping area. It can accommodate up to 10 people, with three double beds and one single bed. A pellet stove provides heating, and double-glazed windows throughout ensure excellent thermal insulation for optimal comfort in all seasons.
